In 2007, Contained Energy began a project to supply clean water to small village in the Bangka Belitung Islands of Indonesia. The system uses ten 64 Wp PV solar panels to power two Lorentz pumps that pump 20-23 cubic metres of water in two stages from Ringeng Lake daily. The water is pumped first to an open tank and then further up into a tower tank. The water is used to supply clean water to the villagers of Toboali.
