About Us
Contained Energy is a ‘foreign investment corporation’ (PMA) located in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Apart from representing manufacturers from Europe, US and other Asian countries, CE also develops and markets propriety products and systems, such as solar streetlights.
CE was founded in 2004 by two Dutch expatriate entrepreneurs and a leading Indonesian manufacturer, with the vision of providing practical solutions for sustainable development.
In October 2006, two further parties joined the Company.
Our Australian partners have 20+ years experience in sales and installations of solar- and wind- systems, with over 300 projects completed. One partner in the group specializes in renewable energy education and training in South East Asia and China.
The other new participant is an expariate private citizen, with a) excellent project management skills and b) extensive community development experience, expertise in participatory approaches to rural development and access to a range of national and international development organizations.
We have finalized our JV Agreement with strong partners in Bali, PT. Contained Energy Bali, specifically for the hotel and villa markets there.
