Research and Development
Contained Energy invests time and effort in simple Research & Development in its R&D facility at the R.O.L.E. Foundation’s Eco Learning Center in Nusa Dua, Bali.
We have developed and installed various low-tech systems:
- simple biogas digester
- solar thermal ice maker working on the ammonia/water absorption principle
- simple solar thermal dryers
Other projects in the pipeline include:
- solar powered catamaran for Marine Parks
- Vertical Axis Wind Turbine for low wind conditions
- solar thermal water distillation
